Kay Finance secured a preferred equity check for this transaction for a US based private equity firm. The deal had enough inplace cash flow to support the preferred return as well as was an advantageous structure for the sponsor who anticipates a significant IRR return once the value add strategy is complete. This was on the sponsor's first deals and was crucial for them to have a partner they can rely on to ensure they will close on the transaction.
